Why do you want to become a CCA Unit Scanner? I want to keep the peace and show the peopel to be aware of their surroundings. The Combine are everywhere, watching and listening, and scanners are the way to show that.
What are your characters special abilities and disabilities?
+ Robots do not need food, water, air, and never get sick.
+ Can fly.
+ Can get to places where CCA and citizens cannot.
- Water will corrode the robot and may make him go dead
- Often seen as a target for rebels.
- Mostly defenseless, no guns, no fists, just an annoying, bright light.
- Can explode into tiny pieces that are difficult to re-assemble.
What kind of personality does your character give? He is a robot. Beep Boop. In all seriousness though, he is a determined little dude, all he wants is to merge with the CCA's existing city scanner forces so he can search for the man who built him.
What are you expected to do in the CCA? Patrol dangerous places, locate rebel scum, assist the offiders when they need it.
How do you think the CCA will be like for you? I believe that I will fit in quite well. With me flying around, the rebels won't know where to hide! You cannot hide if there are eyes and ears at every corner.
Please write a back story of how your character became the CCA Unit SCANNER you are(A Few good lines)
A dark factory, on the edge of City 24 lies dormant. No orders have been made, no workers are in sight, except one. One worker damned to a metal hell for the rest of his being. The worker stood at a control panel, every day, processing data, organizing machines, and moving shipments. Order 015-10-B7 was up next. The worker types in some data on a screen and the factory comes to life, machines crawling to a start. It was almost as if life had returned to a land silence. The factory read the order and churned out parts, then assembled them into their designated shape. This was an order for city scanners, as some idiot with a crowbar kept blowing the new ones up. Something was wrong though, some error cameup along the line, and an extra scanner was made. This scanner was missing many core parts, and could hardly keep powered on. The lone worker investigated the scanner, and began to think. He felt bad for this... machine. Being forced to work in a factory alone had driven this man to make a friend, perhaps he wouldn't be alone much longer. After the shipment was complete, the worker hid the broken scanner among many of the spare parts, so the pickup crew would not report it. After the functional scanners were sent out, the worker had a stretch of free time. He gathered parts from all sorts of devices, just so he could repair this little robot. Then, after days of work, his effort paid off. A *click* was heard, followed by the *whirrr* of the gyro stabilizer. The aperture of the bot opened, and looked at the worker. The robot spoke in an artificial voice, "SCN-14978-000B Active. Identify." The worker responded with a smile and said "My name is Billy Zerl"
Please write a 10 - 15 line roleplay as a CCA SCANNER Unit (the more you write, the better)
SCN-14978-000B (aka, "the Scanner") had proved an able assistant for Billy, even was reguarded as a friend. The two worked in the City 24 Manufactory for many weeks, until, something happened...
The City 24 administration was a corrupt bunch, who were often disconected from the real atmosphere of the city. Some of their decisions had pushed the rebel faction too far, and the conflict escaladed from a spark into a pile of thermite. Billy and the scanner sought refuge in the factory, barricading the doors and windows with whatever they had. Machines were torn down to form walls, to keep the conflict from entering the factory. Eventually, it began to quiet down, soon, a knock was heard at the door. Billy took down the barricade, only to be met by a combine officer. Billy was being transferred to another city. The officer took billy with him, despite him protesting about his friend. The scanner stayed in the factory, alone. Days passed, followed by weeks, even months, the scanner stayed hopeful that billy would return. He never did. SCN-14978-000B was determined to find billy, he had amassed all the courage that a small, defenseless robot could, and he flew. The scanner went across the wasteland, following the train tracks, hoping to find the right city. In the horizon, a tower began to grow taller with every mile closer. A train rolls down the rails in the same direction as the scanner, and an automated message is heard: "Now approaching, City 17".

Explain the reason you want to enlist in the CCA: I have lived in this city for some time and I've seen one thing change constantly. The ratio of citizens to CCA is too high. This city needs protection. This city needs Law. This city needs Order.

Do you understand the consequences if you are to betray the CCA? (Public Amputation)
I understand that betraying the CCA will cause punishments far worse than opposing them, so I will do my best to avoid betraying anybody.
